“To move, to breathe, to fly, to float; to gain all while you give; to roam the roads of lands remote; to travel is to live.” ― Hans Christian Andersen

Yes,ofcourse to travel is to live,to live a life,in a new world ,with a lot of varied experiences, people, geography and culture. As i was a literature student,it is actually a blessing in disguise for me to live in the land of Shakespeare and Walter Scott, the people who lived in our dreams and imaginations only .The chilling weather and the people with blonde hairs itself differntiates the European continent from the rest of the world.

We stayed in a hotel in Glasgow for 2 weeks, the English breakfast included, toasts, sausages, boiled eggs, hams and all gave altogether a different tastes and flavour than our daily Indian brekafasts . The clean, serene, peaceful roads made us aware of the very difference of being in a developed nation.A well developed transport system and infrastructure gave us the confidence to stay there.

English life of partying, where beer is equal to water, for 1 pound it was available in all dept stores, made us realise people are living there just to enjoy and live there life, rather than to save and transfer to their future Gen.The freedom of life ,the distinct beauty of places ,enamours us to the English land. The Scottish architecture, the structures of buildings inside out reminds us of the old English period.

The beauty of Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland ,built in seven hills is vast and amazing. The lothian buses, the football as peoples one religion is quite intersting.Edinburgh Castle gives us a distinct view of the whole land.

  2. Yes dear, but it depends upon each individual's views about his own homeland and the experiences . Settling down in one's own motherland is great..at the same time travelling to different cultures and widening our horizons of knowledge and experiences you can cherish for your life time😊
